The Project: To improve the reading and learning environment for students in remote areas of central Vietnam, the CP Foundation provides subsidies to schools for establishing Loving Reading Rooms and Toy Libraries.
The Story: In order to broaden its outreach and assist more underprivileged students both domestically and abroad, the CP Foundation consulted with the local government in Vietnam to identify the needs of remote communities. Based on this assessment, the foundation selected kindergartens, elementary schools, and junior high schools that lack resources but demonstrate strong motivation and cooperation. The schools provide the space, while the foundation helps construct reading rooms or toy libraries, upgrade equipment, and create a friendly and well-equipped space for students to read and learn.
In the first year (2025), four Loving Reading Rooms and one Toy Library were completed and opened in the second half of 2025. Teachers and students are very pleased with the new facilities, and the foundation will continue to promote reading activities such as reading-reflection competitions to encourage students to read more and learn actively.
The Results: By 2025, the foundation has helped establish four Loving Reading Rooms and one Toy Library, significantly improving the reading environment in remote areas. The foundation will continue to assess and expand this initiative in the future.
